Link and Verify a Trading Account

To earn cashback, CashBak needs to know about the trading accounts you're using. Linking an account is a one-time process per account — once verified, cashback flows automatically from every trade you make on it.

Where to do it

Go to Dashboard → Trading Accounts and click Add Account.

What you'll enter

For each trading account, you'll provide:

  • The broker — choose from the brokers we partner with
  • Account login (number) — the account number issued by your broker (e.g., 34422)
  • Platform — MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView, WebTrader, or Other
  • Account type — Real, Demo, ECN, Standard, Raw, Pro, VIP, or Cent
  • Label (optional) — a friendly name to help you tell accounts apart, like "Main Forex" or "Crypto Swing"

Make sure the account number matches the one on your broker's platform exactly — even one wrong digit means cashback won't track.

Verification

After you add an account, it starts in Unverified status. Our team reviews each submission to confirm:

  • The account exists with the broker
  • The account is registered under our partnership (so the broker shares commission with us)
  • The account belongs to you

Verification states you'll see:

  • Unverified — just added, waiting for first review
  • Pending Review — our team is checking with the broker
  • Verified — confirmed; cashback can now flow
  • Rejected — something didn't match (you'll see the reason)
  • Disabled — temporarily inactive

Verification typically takes a few business days. Some brokers reply faster than others.

What if my account was opened before joining CashBak?

If you opened your trading account directly with the broker (not through our referral link), the broker may not associate it with CashBak — and cashback won't flow. In that case, you have two options:

  1. Open a new account through our broker page — visit the broker on CashBak and use the Visit broker link. Accounts opened this way are auto-tagged to our partnership.
  2. Request a transfer of the existing account — some brokers allow moving an existing account under a new IB. Open a support ticket; we'll tell you whether it's possible for your broker.

You can link multiple accounts

There's no limit on how many trading accounts you can link, across as many brokers as you want. Each one accrues cashback independently.

Common issues

  • "This account is already linked to another user" — A given broker account can only belong to one CashBak user. If you believe this is an error, contact support with proof of ownership.
  • Account verified but no cashback — Make sure you've placed real trades on the verified account. Cashback only accrues on closed trades that paid commission to the broker.
  • Rejected — "not on our partnership" — Your account is with a broker we work with, but it isn't tagged to us. See the section above on accounts opened before joining.
