Why Is My Cashback Pending? Understanding the Timeline

Seeing your cashback sit in a "pending" state is completely normal — it doesn't mean anything is wrong. This page explains exactly what's happening behind the scenes and when you'll get paid.

Cashback isn't instant — and that's by design

When you trade, your broker doesn't pay the commission to us immediately. There's a settlement cycle: the broker tallies up the trading volume, confirms it, and then pays the introducing-broker commission to CashBak. Only after we receive that payment can we release your cashback.

This is why every legitimate cashback platform has a delay. Anyone promising instant cashback on every trade is usually not paying from real broker commissions.

The stages your cashback goes through

Each cashback record moves through clear stages, visible under Dashboard → Cashback:

  1. Pending Verification — your trading account is being confirmed with the broker.
  2. Waiting Deposit — account verified, waiting for activity.
  3. Waiting Trading Volume — you need to place trades for cashback to accrue.
  4. Waiting Commission — your trades are recorded; we're waiting for the broker to settle and pay us.
  5. Commission Approved — the broker paid; your cashback is being released to your wallet.
  6. Cashback Paid — the amount is in your wallet, ready to withdraw.

Most of the "waiting" time is spent at stage 4, where we depend on the broker's settlement schedule.

How long does each broker take?

Settlement speed varies by broker. Some report and pay within a few business days; others operate on weekly or monthly cycles. We track each broker's typical payout speed and show it transparently on their page, so you know what to expect before you choose.

What you can do

  • Keep trading normally — cashback accrues automatically on your verified accounts.
  • Check the broker's cycle — if your broker settles monthly, expect cashback after that cycle closes.
  • Make sure your account is verified — unverified accounts don't accrue cashback.

When pending becomes a problem

Pending is normal. But if a cashback record has been stuck far longer than the broker's stated payout speed, or the amount looks wrong, open a support ticket directly from that cashback record. It arrives pre-tagged with the exact record, so we can investigate immediately.
